Volunteer Requirements

When a child joins a swim team, so do the parents. This sport requires parents to be participants. It takes many people to run a successful meet so there is a job for everyone. Training for most jobs takes only a few minutes; a small number of jobs require attending a clinic. We ask that one member of your family volunteers in at least 5 meets, including the Mock Meet, during the swim season. In total, approximately 30 volunteers are required to run a meet. If you enjoyed your volunteer job from a previous season we highly recommend that you sign up for the same job this year!

Below are basic descriptions of the meet volunteer positions. Parents are asked to select volunteer responsibilities during the registration process. Additional volunteer positions may be added later.

While we cannot run a swim team without parent volunteers, a parent or guardian not being able to volunteer should never be a barrier to your child joining the team. If there are no available positions or you cannot volunteer at a meet please email us
