What your swimmer needs!

Goggles, please make sure they fit. There are kids and adult sizes, one rule of thumb to follow is that they are tight enough that if you pull on the nose piece they shouldn't pop off! The folks at the Kiefer Aquatics store in Cary are great and can help find the right goggles for your child.
Swim Cap, if your hair is longer than your shoulders you must wear a swim cap. It is highly recommended that everyone wears a cap. It makes you faster and prevents extra drag in the water. Every swimmer will get a team cap for free.
One-piece swim suit, practice can be any suit you like but for meets you will need our team suit. Another helpful tip: your suit should be pretty tight, if you can fit 2 fingers under your straps and there is not much give or stretch its perfect, they loosen up in the water.
Kickboards are provided for swim practice.
